I grew up on my grandparents farm where I watched my Grandmother can everything under the sun. I watched my Grandfather till the gardens with a mule and old gear. We had no heat/air and no running water at that time. It was a long time ago but I learned from the best. I have a passion for growing herbs and vegetables and I also can everything under the sun. My business is Two Country Hens and I sell  my products online, to small grocery stores, vineyards, orchards and more. I want to go further and help provide good foods to future customers.

Equipment and infrastructure details

To make this dream come true, I would need a barn for storing all necessary equipment to manage farmland. Equipment needed to grade, mow, and mulching for gardens/crops. Large chicken coops for eggers and large coops for meat birds. An FDA approved chicken processing building for processing home grown chickens. I have a plan for what is needed for my projects. What type of chickens for eggs, what type chickens for meat, how to process chickens and what I need to make it happen. I just need help in the financial phase of this project. I would love to keep it in my small town of Hayesville, NC. "Clay Country".
