We are a family of 4 looking to keep the American dream alive. We are looking for a permanent farm.
Plan
Sustainable and regenerative farming are our goals. As a chef I look to produce for local restaurants and the community. We look to give back to the community and build a farm that will be passed down through generations.
My children love being outdoors with animals and learning. Instead of Disney they choose Discovery Channel. We look to raise livestock and produce.
Being ethical and honest is key for us. We want to provide a product that people love but also respect.
We are looking for a good amount of land and our family is ready to do the work!

Practices details
We believe that we must let animals live together while respecting the traditions of our elders. We plan to raise organically and regenerative. We want to raise:
Cattle, pig, duck, chicken, turkey, goat, and if possible trout on property.
We plan on produce and fruit trees as well.
We plan on micro greens and green houses to help produce year round.
We plan on respecting the land and building our farm for the next 100 years.

Experience details
As a country boy I have been on many farms and have family in VA that has been farming since before the civil war. I am comfortable with most animals but also respect the need to learn on the job. I believe in traditional practices of letting the animals be animals.
I have been a chef and in the military so discipline and patience has been a part of my life.
I am willing to do what it takes to learn what is needed.
We currently take care of 30 head of cattle, chickens and some ducks.
