Seeking 2–10 acres to grow a food forest rooted in abundance, relationship, and ecological harmony.

I’m in the early stages of my farming journey. My vision is to create a regenerative food forest—a self-sustaining ecological system where abundance arises naturally from health and balance. I’m not focused on production or extraction; I’m drawn to observing how trees, shrubs, and soil interact, and learning directly from the land. I feel financially supported and am here to build a relationship with the land, not take from it.

  • Well / Pond / Other water source

Equipment and infrastructure details

I don’t need large machinery. Simple tools for planting, pruning, mulching, composting, and water catchment are ideal. A basic shelter or shed for tool storage would be helpful. I’m open to building infrastructure slowly and sustainably. Solar or off-grid options are appealing, but not essential. I’m willing to be flexible and adapt to the specific needs of the site.

I do intend to live onsite and am also looking to start a family in the next few years and support them where I live.

Opportunity details

I’m open to lease-to-own, long-term lease, or working in partnership with a landowner whose values align. I’d also love to apprentice or help steward someone else’s vision if it resonates with mine. My ideal spot is 2–10 acres with space to plant and learn slowly. Community-minded opportunities are welcome. I’m inspired by pioneers like Joel Salatin and excited to participate in this cultural shift toward new ways of living and farming.

Practices details

My approach is rooted in regenerative and permaculture practices: building soil health, encouraging biodiversity, and cultivating systems that thrive with minimal intervention. I’m interested in companion planting, forest layering, rainwater harvesting, and creating wildlife-friendly habitat. I care about creating spaces that are nourishing to both humans and the wider ecosystem.

  • Cattle (Dairy / Beef)
  • Orchard / Vineyard
  • Woodlot or forest products

Goals details

I aim to plant a variety of fruit and nut trees, shrubs, and groundcover in a polyculture system that grows more resilient and productive over time. My goal is to produce food that supports myself and my community, without pushing the land beyond what it offers naturally. I hope to co-create something abundant and long-lasting, shaped by close observation and collaboration with the land itself.

Experience details

I do not have formal farming experience or training, but I bring deep curiosity and reverence for the land. I’m beginning by gardening with permaculture-inspired principles and learning through observation and study. I am open to apprenticeships and on-farm mentorships. My current education is hands-on and values-driven—centered on learning how thriving ecosystems naturally sustain themselves.

I have a deeply devotional relationship to God and intend to bring the same to its creation, coupled with a strong engineering skill-set and ability to self-educate and self-finance any trainings.
