We are offering a ~5 acre organic farm / market garden for rent starting January 1st, 2025. Our current tenants have been there for 3 years and operate a very successful CSA with other outlets. They have found themselves in the place to purchase their own land, and will be concluding their stay after this year. This is the goal, to be an incubator farm, where folks can get their businesses going over the course of 2+ years, and then be able to move on to their own land when they are ready. The farm has two 100ft farmer's friend high tunnels and a 50ft propagation house, over 100 established outside growing beds (50ft long), a 10x12 walk in cooler, greens bubbler, greens spinner, drying racks, a deep agricultural well, an old barn with lots of storage space and a portion of an insulated metal workshop with concrete floor. Living quarters are in a fixed, 24ft travel trailer with a metal roof covering the trailer and the large deck. It has an on demand hot water heater, small bath with shower, full kitchen, pullout couch/bed, and a queen size bed. There are 2 locations for RV's or Vans, either in the parking area near the home, or down on the concrete pad outside the workshop. Electrical and water would be accessible for these. This is offered to experienced farmers only, who can demonstrate that they have the knowledge and experience to run their own organic farming business. Please send your resume or experience with your inquiry. There is a zero-turn mower as part of the lease for keeping grass cut. Feel free to cut your own organic hay from the 1+ acres available.
