This is beautiful farmland with a pond and irrigation equipment onsite. We also have a cattle barn and a hay barn onsite, and available at an extra cost. The landowner lives onsite but no longer wishes to maintain a cattle farm, but would love to see the land used for cattle as it has been for nearly 80 years.

The lessee would be responsible for upkeep and repair of fences, gates, soil and grass.

The property has been used for Black Angus cattle for the past 70+ years and the pastures have been routinely fertilized with nitrogen.

Opportunity details

$50/acre/year to lease, with negotiable lease options but no less than 1 year. We are looking for a responsible farmer who would like to expand their cattle or horse herd on our farmland in southern Lee county (3 miles from Moore co line near Cameron, NC). There are ~60 acres of fenced pastureland, and most fencing is 5 foot woven wire with 2 barbed wire strands above and an interior electrified barbed wire. There is an upper pasture off Cedar Lane Road and a back pasture near Blakeley Road.

$300/year (or $25/month) will be charged for electricity for the fencing and water.

While crops could be grown on this land, we'd  prefer it to be used for pastureland, as it has been for 77 years.
