Planning Stages* Farm Park will break ground in May 2025.  Highland is a 70 Acre Farm Park and Nature Preserve.  It is intended as an entire campus of 20-30 environmental nonprofits, farmers, and community partners who each run an area of the Farm Park that is their specialty. Highland will feature Bird, Bee and Butterfly Conservation Ares, AquaZen Center, Walking Trails,  Woodland Forest Learning Center,  Forgotten Fields Farming History Village,  Old World Barn - Heritage Farm Breeds Showcase,  Production Farm with Traditional to Modern Farming Techniques,  Everglow Barn, Greenhouse Cafe and Plant Market, Glitter Carvern- Earth Exploratorium, Koi Moon- Koi Fish and Bonzai Trees, the Wishing Tree and Peace Gardens and so much more.

The buildings, barns, and infrastructure are not yet in place but access to the land will be available starting in May to the farm partners.

Farmers will be allowed to choose a specialty such as Vegetables, Microgreens, Mushrooms, Herbs, Aquaponics, Hydroponics, Flowers, Starts, Native Plants, Woodland Foraging, etc.  Farmers may also request or suggest a specialty as we are open to all partnerships related to farming and gardening.

Highland Farm Park is accepting applications from local experienced Farmers to become one of the farmers inside the 70 Acre Farm Park and Nature Preserve which serves 20-30 nonprofits, farmers and community partners.  Please note this project is just in the planning stages so it is bare land at the moment.  Farm Partners have the rare opportunity to grow for the community, visitors, and shareowners.  To apply please submit information on your experience, the type of farm product you would like to grow, the acres needed, and why you believe you would benefit the farm park by being chosen as one of the farmers. 

Additional information about this property

Please note that this an educational center that focuses on environmental, nature and farming topics.  The Farm Park will be open to the public, special events and field trips which is an amazing opportunity for farmers to gain long term customers.  Being a Farm Partner means there are some additional requirements such as the ensuring the Farm areas remain reasonably presentable to the public.
