I have a small farm located in Rutherfordton near Isothermal Community College that is available for lease. It’s in a convenient location that’s quiet and peaceful.

A large portion of the land was cleared in 2024 which will be available for gardening.  The land was not previously farmed, so work will need to be done to prepare your garden.  

There’s also several acres of woods if you’re interested in foraging and creating hiking or riding trails.  A smaller portion of the land is set aside for my gardens, my animals, and an occupied rental camper. 

Bring your camper/travel trailer/rv to set up your homestead.

Flowers, blueberries, egg chickens, honeybees, and more!  This is a fairly new farm that’s getting established and still growing!  Hundreds of dahlia tubers planted this Spring. Over 225 3-year old blueberry bushes starting to mature and produce a harvest. Several chickens providing dozens of eggs each week with the potential to expand the flock. Plenty of open space to add your own plans to what’s already happening on the farm.

Owner is offsite but tends to the farm weekly. A portion of the farm is already established (blueberries, flowers, chickens), but plenty of freedom and flexibility for additional areas.  There’s also an area towards the back of the property fenced off with “pet” pigs with an automatic feeder.

Monthly lease amount of $500 (based on local rv/camper parking pad rates). Utilities are not included and would be based on usage. *Rate negotiable if you’re interested in doing additional tasks around the farm.
