Practice details

Prior to the opening of Oak Hill Community Park and Forest, the bottomland fields were leased to farmers producing corn under conventional farming practices. Since January 2024, the farm has been under the management of Lee's One Fortune Farm, who use traditional farming practices. Although the farm is not certified organic, the Lee's focus on natural inputs and therefore do not use synthetic pesticides.
