Opportunity details

I'm purchasing (Feb 2025) a unique 7 acre property that used to be a farm in what is now a suburban neighborhood in Winston Salem NC. I have 2.25 acres of flat, fertile fields. I would like to offer this land to collaborate on creating an urban food forest, sustainable gardens, experiments, community offerings etc. There may also be plats on another part of the land to build a home.

For year 1, I'd like to stick to plants, but am open to exploring small farm animals in the future.

Additional information about this property

The long term goal of the 7 acres is to develop cohousing, a shared common building, and dedicate this 2.25 acres to sustainable growing practices, education, community programs, etc.
