Production details

Working towards improving pasture by means of strip grazing, and adding trees to add shade, additional forage and mast production for livestock and human consumption.  We are also interested in creating silvopasture by subtraction, thinning some of our forest land to release mature trees for increased mast production, and to allow for increased herbaceous growth at ground level for livestock consumption. Thinning of the trees will offer a great opportunity for harvesting logs for firewood and mushroom production.  We would love to partner with a young farmer who is interested in mushroom farming of shiitake, oyster, lions mane, etc.
