Mixon Seed Service, established in 1973, is a trusted independent seed supplier covering the Southeast serving both farmers and retailers. We provide regionally specific, proprietary brands and are vertically integrated from production to delivery.
We offer a wide range of services, including field crops, cover crops to improve soil health, wildlife food plot blends, forage and pasture seed, grass seed for your lawn, sweet corn, and native species/pollinators (essentially everything besides heavy vegetable seeds). We also offer seed support and custom blending, as well as production and distribution. While headquartered in Orangeburg, SC, we also have facilities in St Matthews SC, Newton GA, and Greenville NC.
We are producing, selling, and distributing seed (majority of our own), but we are also a resource for growers across the region to call when they have a question on how to plant, when to plant, how to prepare the seed bed, etc. Our core values are that we are passionate about service, we are authentic and operate with integrity, we value relationships and think long term, and we embrace diversity of ideas as the marketplace continues to change over time.
