Seeking
- 0-5 Total acres
- 0-5 Acres of cropland or tillable land
- 0-5 Acres of pasture
Desired locations
Beginner regenerative farmer seeking land to lease for a multi-enterprise operation.
Plan
I'm building a regenerative farm and ecological land design business that uses low-impact, mobile infrastructure to raise pasture-based poultry, offer nature-focused dog boarding, and create community field space for events like ultimate frisbee. I operate respectfully, and aim to enhance the land through rotational grazing, composting, and native planting. My long-term goal is to grow a farm, consulting practice, and small event space that restores land and brings people together. I'm looking to lease 1–5 acres with a light footprint and a lot of care.
Desired infrastructure
Equipment and infrastructure details
Preferred infrastructure includes mobile chicken coops, electric netting with solar energizer, gravity-fed waterers, and portable feeders for rotational grazing. A small no-till garden uses raised beds, hand tools, and drip irrigation fed by rain catchment. Dog boarding features a fenced enrichment yard, shaded shelter, and basic wash station. A storage shed or trailer houses tools and supplies. All systems are low-impact, modular, and designed for use on leased land. Optional upgrades include a hoop house, solar pump, or mobile freezer. The setup supports regenerative production, consulting, and community events.
Preferred type of opportunity
Opportunity details
The ideal landlord values land stewardship, community, and low-impact use. They have 1–10 acres of open land with water access and are open to RV parking, portable infrastructure, and regenerative practices. They support local food or ecology, are flexible with short- or long-term leases, and appreciate the land being actively cared for. A basic shed or barn is a plus but not required. Zoning should allow small-scale farming, dog boarding, and occasional events. This landlord sees the arrangement as a partnership—supporting purpose-driven land use that enriches soil, community, and culture.
Desired farming practices
Practices details
My farming practices follow regenerative principles with a focus on soil health, animal welfare, and ecological resilience. I raise pasture-based poultry using mobile coops and rotational grazing to improve forage and distribute nutrients. I use no-till methods for a small vegetable garden, compost all organic waste, and capture rainwater for irrigation. Everything is low-impact and modular, designed for leased land. I also monitor land health using EOV (Ecological Outcome Verification) protocols to guide adaptive, outcome-based management.
Production goals
Goals details
The farm is grounded in regenerative agriculture, prioritizing soil health, animal welfare, ecological resilience, and low-overhead, mobile infrastructure. Production will begin with pasture-raised poultry (both eggs and meat) and grow to include a small no-till vegetable garden. All practices align with Ecological Outcome Verification (EOV) principles, and are designed to restore the land while producing nutrient-dense food.

Experience details
In Fall 2024, I completed Ecological Outcome Verification (EOV) training through the Savory Institute, learning to monitor land health using regenerative indicators like soil cover, biodiversity, and ecological function. I was then hired by Hickory Nut Gap Farm, where I conduct EOV monitoring, assist with rotational grazing, and participate in chicken processing and daily farm chores. This hands-on work has given me practical experience in regenerative agriculture and land stewardship, directly informing my design, planning, and future consulting work.
