I am a regenerative grass-fed beef farmer looking to lease additional pastureland.

After my honorable discharge from the US Navy in 2022, I began working as an apprentice at Back to Earth Farm in Asheboro, NC raising grass-fed and finished beef. The following year, I graduated from the Boots on the Ground veteran-farmer apprenticeship program and was promoted to farm manager. In 2025, my parents moved to VA to start a homestead for their retirement, and I resigned my position in Asheboro in order to move there. Since then, I have purchased cattle from my previous employer and have been working for my parents in southern VA while searching for additional farm land.

Equipment and infrastructure details

I move my cattle frequently, utilizing temporary electric fence to subdivide paddocks, allowing for better manure distribution and longer rest periods.

  • Lease w/Option to Buy

Opportunity details

I am looking to partner with a landowner who is willing to support a young farmer with land access, and wants to see their land improve through regenerative grazing practices.

  • Biodynamic
  • Regenerative
  • Certified organic

Practices details

Not only am I passionate about farming, but also land beatification where regenerative agriculture improves the landscape, further reflecting the majesty of God's creation.

  • Cattle (Dairy / Beef)
  • Sheep/Goat (Dairy / Meat)

Goals details

I would like to expand my herd of cattle and produce 100% grass-fed and finished beef. My cattle are smaller framed and have excellent grass-fed genetics, making them a good fit for local beef production and landscape regeneration. I would like to also raise grass-fed lamb with the cattle in a mixed herd or "flerd," as it is sometimes called. I would like to farm full-time.
